Hello! My first week back to work from my 3 week staycation was every bit rough! I realize more and more that being my own boss is financially, emotionally, and physically the way to go. While I love treating patients and am privileged to do so, more me time is never a bad thing. This week is exciting for me because it marks the end of my government loan service commitment! Basically, the government paid for two years of my dental school education, which in turn meant that I had to work in an underserved community clinic for those same number of years. September 20 marks end and I’m ever so excited to move on to new endeavors!
I wanted to upload this video a little bit closer to my Nordstrom Anniversary sale video, however they still aren’t too far apart. In that video I mentioned I would be doing a detailed review of the Stuart Weitzman Highland Boots and here is it! If you haven’t already, you may want to watch the video first and come back here for the details and so the following makes sense.
My Sizing
I wear shoe sizes US 11-12 and clothing sizes 12-14. My bottoms are usually a size 14. As promised in my video, if you are interested in this boot and would like to use me as a measurement reference, here are two pictures to help you out. My lower mid-thigh area measured about 25-26″. My foot measures ~11.5″ (sorry for the crusty foot shot!)
What I Bought
Stuart Weitzman ‘Highland’ Over the Knee Boot | Topo Suede | Size 11.5 M | $478.80 (During & after the sale, the price is the same) http://bit.ly/2vTZyak
Final Thoughts
I love the style of this boot, however the slim cut leg just did not work for me.
