A floral dress is a reminder of a cool summer breeze and fragrant spring blossoms. A cute floral print is enough to make any woman feel beautiful. Thankfully floral prints are in for the AW/17 season and I’m so here for it. Coordinating accessories is key as to avoid overloading your look. Keep your shoes bold and timelessly chic for a classic and sophisticated look.
For this outfit, I pieced together long time existing items in my wardrobe. The floral dress is from Victoria’s Secret, when lingerie powerhouse used to have an extensive clothing line. Their items were so unique and of great quality, hence why I still have this dress years later! I wanted to bring a more polished look to my outfit and opted to bring out the black in the dress with a bolero-ish black cropped blazer. This was another throwback in my collection from Nordstrom Rack, 9 years ago! Yes, I bought this jacket from the Rack in 2008, the summer after I graduated college! On my feet I wore an orange and suede pair of Calvin Klein slingbacks, which I was lucky to spot at my local Ross early this summer! In my hands I had to carry the so effortless and easy to wear Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis and a Trunks Bandeau. Lastly my sunnies are from Amazon this season.
